About

Jorge Montoya

Verizon retail leader in the Valley. Founder of Ivadra. I run a floor, coach people, and build the systems that make the day less of a scramble.

Retail isn't a placeholder until something else shows up. It's the job. You learn how people decide under pressure, what a good huddle does to a shift, and how fast a team falls apart when the system is weak.

I'm deep in James Clear right now. You don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems. That line lives on my floor: tight huddles, clean back of house, tools so reps can own their numbers, processes that make performance less about heroics.

Leadership for me is closer to Ted Lasso than a scoreboard speech. Be curious, not judgmental. Success is helping people become better versions of themselves, on the shift and off it. Start with Why is the other half: if the why is fuzzy, the tool or the process is usually wrong.

Ivadra is the company shell for everything else: apparel and software under one name. Same standard: own it, make it good, ship it.

Where I can help

Not job hunting. Open to shipping real tools with people who need someone who still lives the floor, and who cares whether the system helps humans do better work without burning out.
