Hi, I'm Jorge.

I live in Arizona. My main job is running a wireless retail store as a sales manager. I coach a team, hit numbers, and run the floor every day. It is a real career and I take it seriously. I am also a college student. In the hours around all of that, I build things.

I like work that is done carefully. Clothing that is simple instead of loud. Software that is small and actually useful instead of bloated. The thread that ties it together is owning what I make. I would rather build something real that is mine than rent someone else's template.

What I'm building on the side

Ivadra is my Arizona company, where I keep the things I make. Ivadra Apparel is a clothing line I am building slowly, with good materials and pieces meant to last. Ivadra Software is where I write code and ship small tools. This site is part of that too. I built it by hand, no page builders, code I own.

Why I write

Writing is how I think. I use this space to work through what I am learning. How to build a company while holding a job and going to school. What retail keeps teaching me. Why I do things the slow way on purpose. If any of it helps you, even better.
